I was working as an engineer in Dubai, living a comfortable life, when I returned to India and witnessed the heartbreaking reality of the youth in Raipur. Many young, talented individuals were unable to pursue their dreams due to financial hardships and lack of guidance. This deeply moved me, and I felt compelled to take action. However, I know now that it was Allah who guided me toward this noble cause. Alhamdulillah, with His blessings, this initiative began, and it continues to grow every day. What started as a small step turned into a movement as friends, well-wishers, and supporters joined hands with us. As the saying goes, “Main akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar, Log milte gaye aur karwan banta gaya”. Today, Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation (CGZF) stands as a testament to what collective effort, rooted in faith, can achieve.Education is the foundation of a strong and prosperous society. In Islam, seeking knowledge is a duty for every Muslim, and it is through education that we uplift ourselves and our communities. Education is not just about personal success; it is about building a society grounded in wisdom, compassion, and righteousness. With Allah’s mercy, CGZF has been working tirelessly to support underprivileged students by providing scholarships, skill-development training (Mahire -Hoonar), and career guidance. From supporting students in professional fields like Medicine, Engineering, and Law to empowering youth with vocational skills, we aim to create opportunities for those who deserve a chance to shine. One of the most rewarding moments for us is when our students share their results, job offers, or success in competitive exams. These are not merely their personal achievements; they are the achievements of the entire foundation, a collective success that we are deeply proud of. It is in these moments that we feel an immense sense of gratitude towards Allah, for it is only through His guidance and blessings that these successes are possible.
