With the inspiring vision that “no deserving student should be deprived of education due to financial constraints,” Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation (CGZF) successfully organized the Bhilai Felicitation Ceremony 2025, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to educational empowerment, merit recognition, and community development.
₹11 Lakh Scholarships for Meritorious Students (Class 6 to College Level)
The prestigious ceremony was held at Jama Masjid Community Hall, Sector-6, Bhilai, where 128 meritorious students, ranging from Class 6 to college level, were felicitated with scholarships amounting to a total of ₹10 lakh. These scholarships were awarded under CGZF’s
11th Annual Scholarship (Wazifa) Program, aimed at supporting academically bright students from economically weaker backgrounds.
Special Recognition for Competitive Exam Achievers
In addition to scholarships, students who excelled in competitive examinations were specially honoured. These achievers were awarded medals and certificates of excellence, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and outstanding academic performance. This initiative was designed to motivate students to aim higher and confidently compete at state and national levels.

Acknowledging the backbone of the organization, working volunteers who actively contributed to the successful execution of CGZF’s educational initiatives were presented with Certificates of Appreciation. Their selfless service, commitment, and continuous efforts were highly appreciated and applauded during the ceremony.

11 Years of CGZF’s Impact in Education
Addressing the gathering, CGZF founders Mr. Tahir and Mr. Akil shared that over the past 11 years, nearly 9,000 students have benefited from CGZF’s scholarship, guidance, and skill development programs. Their vision continues to transform lives through education and opportunity.
