Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation (CGZF) organised the Felicitation Ceremony 2025 in Bilaspur to honour meritorious students and celebrate academic excellence across various educational levels. The programme was conducted with the aim of motivating students, encouraging learning, and strengthening the culture of education within the community.

 Around 160 students were felicitated for their achievements in academics, competitive examinations, professional courses, sports, and co-curricular activities. The event saw participation of more than 230 students, along with parents, teachers, and community members.
During the ceremony, scholarships worth ₹7.5 lakh were distributed to deserving students to support their education. The Foundation also shared that, over the years, it has provided more than ₹ 5 crore in scholarships, enabling thousand s of students across Chhattisgarh to continue their studies with confidence and dignity. Through scholarships, academic support, career guidance, and motivational programmes, CGZF has been consistently working to remove financial barriers and promote value-based education.
Students from Classes 6 to 12, colleges, professional courses, and those who cleared competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE, UPSC, PSC, RRB, NDA, CA, CS, and other national and state-level exams were honoured on the occasion. Special recognition was also given to students who achieved excellence in sports and other extracurricular fields.

Speakers at the event appreciated the Foundation’s efforts and described CGZF’s initiatives as a meaningful contribution towards social development. They emphasised that education, when supported with guidance and encouragement, becomes a powerful tool for building confident individuals and a stronger society.
The Felicitation Ceremony was not only a celebration of success but also a reminder of CGZF’s ongoing commitment to Mission Taleem – Uplifting Through Education, ensuring that no deserving student is deprived of opportunities due to financial limitations.
