Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation Distributes ₹50 Lakh Scholarships to 700 Students
Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation (CGZF), under its flagship Mission Taleem, successfully organised a grand Felicitation & Scholarship Distribution Ceremony 2025 in Raipur, marking another milestone in its journey of educational empowerment.
During the programme, scholarships worth ₹50 lakh were distributed to nearly 700 meritorious students, supporting their academic journey across medical, engineering, professional, postgraduate, and undergraduate courses. The ceremony stood as a strong message that education, discipline, and perseverance are the true foundations of success.

Inspiring Messages from Distinguished Guests
The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from administrative, educational, and social backgrounds who inspired students with real-life guidance:
A.H. Khan, Retired GST Commissioner (Income Tax Department), emphasised that “there is no shortcut to success; consistent hard work alone leads to achievement.” He encouraged students to define their own paths and shared examples of successful journeys. He also highlighted the importance of self-learning resources and informed students about a community library initiative available through registration.
Haji Aslam Khan, former Chairman of the Haj Committee, stated that “progress is impossible without knowledge” and urged students to prioritise education with discipline and determination.
Mohammad Imran, Chairman of the Haj Committee, motivated students to adapt to changing circumstances, work hard, and carve their own identity in society.
A.O. Lari , Deputy Director (Employment), guided students on employment opportunities through government digital platforms, explaining the use of e-Rozgar and Yuva App. He announced personal financial support for students securing admission in Navodaya Vidyalayas and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education.
“This Is Not Just Money, It Is a Journey of Hope”

Addressing the gathering, Syed Akil  Ahmed shared the inspiring journey of the Foundation. He stated that CGZF began 11 years ago with ₹9 lakh collected during Ramadan, which has now grown into a ₹50 lakh annual scholarship initiative. He congratulated all scholarship recipients and reiterated CGZF’s long-term commitment to education-driven social development.
Several speakers including Inamullah Khan , Md  Tahir , Irfan Bukhari, and other social leaders stressed the importance of discipline, self-upgradation, and adapting to technology-driven futures. Business leader Irfan Bukhari highlighted that students who continuously update their skills will lead the future, especially in the IT era.

Scholarship and Cerificate Of Honour Distribution Highlights
Scholarships were awarded to students from diverse academic fields, including:
MBBS – 5 students
Chartered Accountancy (CA) – 3 students
Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) – 1 student
Engineering – 15 students
PhD – 2 students
100+ other college students from various disciplines
Top-performing students received certificates, medals, and scholarship cheques in the presence of dignitaries.
Special Scholarships & Future Initiatives
CGZF announced multiple named scholarships inspired by Islamic role models. A special announcement was made for a ₹21,000 scholarship for NEET toppers, to be introduced from the next academic year.
In collaboration with Vedantu, CGZF also announced the launch of a Talent Search Programme, under which  selected students will receive special coaching, fully sponsored by the Foundation.
Building a Strong Educational Ecosystem
Students shared their success stories and expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s support. Community leaders praised CGZF for ensuring that Zakat reaches the right hands and creates long-term impact, inspiring others to contribute responsibly towards education.
The ceremony concluded with a reaffirmation of CGZF’s mission to continue empowering students through scholarships, mentorship, career guidance, and value-based education.
