Plantation Initiative by Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation

As a foundation, Chhattisgarh Zakat Foundation (CGZF) recognizes the crucial role plantation plays in protecting our environment and ensuring a sustainable future. Guided by our commitment to societal welfare and the teachings of Islam, which emphasize the importance of planting trees as a noble and rewarding act, we have taken the initiative to contribute to the green development of our surroundings.

This plantation drive was conducted in three key areas:

1. Ward Area – Enhancing the greenery in residential neighborhoods for cleaner air and improved community health.

2. Kabristan (Graveyard) – Following the Islamic tradition of preserving and beautifying graveyards, we added plantations to create a serene and respectful environment.

3. Industrial Area – Addressing pollution and promoting ecological balance in areas where industries operate.

Through this initiative, we aim to inspire our community to view plantation as an essential act of service, not only for the environment but also for future generations. Our students, who are the torchbearers of tomorrow, were actively involved in this campaign to instill in them the values of environmental care and responsibility.
